Bio

Duncan Slagle is a Queer poet and performer studying Classics, Ancient Greek, Latin, and Creative Writing at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a First Wave scholar. Duncan currently lives in Athens, Greece.

Duncan has won poetry prizes from the Crab Creek Review, Mikrokosmos Journal, and Epiphany Magazine. Duncan's poems are appearing or forthcoming in BOAAT Journal, Palette Poetry, The Shallow Ends,  Vinyl, Poetry City, & The Adroit Journal, among others. 

Duncan has performed at venues such as the Orpheum Theater, the Walker Art Center, the Guthrie Theater, the In Heart of the Beast Theater, Poets House NYC, & the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts, among others.
